Who we are

gb.social is a trading name of Momently Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17280873, registered office 201 Broadway Lane, Bournemouth BH8 0AD. Contact: hello@gb.social or 01202 022435. These terms apply to everything we do for you, together with your quote. If your quote says something different, the quote wins.

Free audits, checks and designs

Our free audits and checks really are free, with no obligation to buy anything. We aim to email audits and checks within 3 working days, and free designs within 5 working days. They're based on public information and our own research at the time, so they're a guide, not a guarantee of results.

Sites we build include a small ‘Website by gb.social’ credit in the footer.

Quotes and prices

• There is no VAT to add to the prices on this website.
• We confirm your price, what's included and your start date in a quote before any work starts. The price you agree is the price you pay.
• Anything outside the quote is priced and agreed with you first.

Paying

• Websites: a one-off price, half when we start and half at launch, plus hosting and management if required, as agreed in your quote.
• Monthly services: paid monthly. Set-up fees are paid at the start.
• Ads: your ad spend is paid directly by you to Google or Meta. Our fee includes 15% of ad spend over £1,500 a month, as shown on our prices.
• Other one-off work (logos, photos, words, domains): as agreed in your quote.
• When invoices are due, and what happens if one is late: as agreed in your quote.

Minimum terms and stopping

• Single monthly services have a 3-month minimum, then run month to month.
• Packages have a 6-month minimum, then run month to month.
• How much notice to give when you want to stop: as agreed in your quote.

What we need from you

• Accurate information about your business, and words, photos and logos you have the right to use.
• Replies and approvals in good time, so we can keep to the dates we agree.
• Ownership of your own accounts: your Google Business Profile, your domain, and your social and ad accounts stay in your name, and you add us as a manager.
• Following the rules of the platforms you use (for example Google, Facebook and Instagram).

Your Google and social accounts

We only access your Google or social accounts with your consent, and only to do the work we've agreed. We ask for your approval before we publish posts or replies in your name. You can remove our access at any time. How we handle the data is set out in our privacy notice.

Results

Google, AI assistants and social platforms decide their own rankings and results, and they change their rules. We do the work we've agreed with care and skill and report honestly on it, but we can't promise a particular position, number of calls or sales.

Responsibility

• We're responsible for doing our work with reasonable care and skill. If something we did is wrong, tell us and we'll put it right.
• We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, for lost profits or business, or for problems caused by Google, Meta, hosts or other services outside our control.
• Apart from that, our total responsibility for any piece of work is limited to what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the problem.
• Nothing here limits responsibility the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top; the terms in force when you accepted your quote apply to that work. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. Questions? hello@gb.social
